Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York (LASNNY) developed a video "Legal Aid Matters" outlining how LASNNY provides effective, free civil legal services and education to low income individuals and to individuals with barriers to accessing the legal system. The video outlines how LASNNY offers advocacy for individuals in need. It also shows how LASNNY secures low income people's basic needs, protects and preserves legal rights, provides equal access to justice and seeks fairness and dignity for their clients. The video is composed of short interviews with members of the local legal community, some staff members of LASNNY as well as their clients. It includes clients' stories of domestic abuse and immigration problems and how they received help. The video also covers the private attorney involvement and fundraising initiatives of LASNNY.
