Wyoming Legal Services (WLS) recently launched a statewide pro bono website WyomingAdvocate.org. WyomingAdvocate.org is an online legal community that provides information and resources for pro bono and legal aid attorneys, law professionals, and other legal advocates interested in increasing access to justice. The website informs lawyers about available pro bono cases and existing support for pro bono work. The email tool for WyomingAdvocate.org is used to stay in touch with attorneys and keep them involved – efforts that take on added importance since winter weather makes in-person networking next to impossible in Wyoming. There is also a Library Resource that is available on the site and WyomingAdvocate.org has been building up this content based on requests. With the help of this site the number of pro bono attorneys is up to 120 for Wyoming Legal Services. WyomingAdvocate.org also circulates a monthly newsletter to keep attorneys engaged as they keep enhancing the website to further serve their community's pro bono needs.
