Chicago-Kent College of Law and the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction developed a software tool called A2J Author® to increase access to justice. A2J Author® is a software tool that delivers greater access to justice for self-represented litigants by enabling non-technical authors from the courts, clerk's offices, legal services programs, and website editors rapidly to build and implement customer friendly web-based interfaces, known as A2J Guided Interviews®. When paired with documents built in HotDocs, A2J Guided Interviews® remove many of the barriers faced by self-represented litigants, allowing them easily to complete the information necessary to print court documents that are ready to be filed with the court system. A2J Guided Interviews® are also being used to facilitate e-filing and remote online intake. For more information please visit: http://www.kentlaw.edu/cajt/A2JAuthor.html or http://www.a2jauthor.org
